DealZap extension result page — Excellent buy, AI score 85/100

How it works

Three steps. Maybe four seconds.

Open any product page on Amazon or Flipkart. Click the DealZap icon. Get an honest verdict. That's the whole loop.

Step 01
Amazon.in product page with the DealZap extension icon ready in the toolbar

Open any product page

Browse normally on amazon.in or flipkart.com. When you spot something you're considering, click the DealZap icon in your Chrome toolbar.

Step 02
DealZap Scan page reading the product details and checking 90-day price history

DealZap reads the page

Title, current price, MRP, brand and image are extracted from the page you're on. We never see any other tab. The scrape runs once, then closes.

Step 03
DealZap verdict result page — Excellent buy with AI score of 85 out of 100

See the verdict

An AI-scored 0–100 rating, 90-day price-history check, and a plain-English verdict — Excellent / Caution / Pass. Decide in seconds.

Submit-a-Deal form prefilled with the product URL, title, prices, and brand scraped from the source page

For Pro creators

Capture deals in one click.

Logged-in Pro creators get a different flow. The same icon opens our submit-deal form — prefilled with the product URL, title, prices, brand, and image — ready to submit to your channel in seconds.

  • No copy-paste. No broken screenshots. No retyping prices.
  • Works on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Ajio product pages.
  • Approved deals publish to your channels using your own affiliate tracking.

First-launch warning, explained

If Chrome says "Proceed with caution", here's why.

Chrome's Enhanced Safe Browsing mode shows a "not trusted" prompt for any Chrome Web Store extension that hasn't yet accumulated install history. This is not a security flag on the extension itself — it just means the extension is new. The exact same prompt was shown for every well-known extension when it first launched.

Three facts that should make you comfortable:

  1. 1DealZap is a Trader-verified publisher on the Chrome Web Store. Our parent company, Glaubetech Inventions Pvt Ltd, is identified and verified. Click "View developer" on the listing to confirm.
  2. 2Minimum permissions, Manifest V3. activeTab + scripting only, host permissions limited to amazon.in & flipkart.com. Source code is one static service worker file — no remote code, no eval, no other domains.
  3. 3The warning disappears automatically after enough users install without incident — typically within 2–6 weeks of the launch date.

If you'd like to verify the extension yourself before installing, our full source code is reviewed by Google's CWS reviewers and you can read the privacy policy at dealzap.ai/privacy or contact us at dealzap.ai/contact.

Permissions, in plain English

What we ask for, what we don't.

activeTab

Granted only when you click our icon

Lets us briefly read the product details from the tab you explicitly clicked us on. We lose access the moment you switch tabs.

scripting

One-time scrape, then closes

Injects a small scraper that reads the visible product title, price, MRP, brand and image — then exits. No persistent scripts, no DOM changes you can see.

host_permissions: amazon.in & flipkart.com

Only these two domains

The scraper only operates on these two merchant domains. We could have asked for "all_urls" — we didn't, because the extension would not function correctly anywhere else.

What we do NOT do

Read your other tabs

Track browsing history

Collect personal information

Load remote code or eval

Run background scripts on non-merchant pages

Show ads inside the extension

Common questions

Frequently asked

Yes, the Chrome extension is free for everyone, no signup required. The free tier covers an unlimited number of "is this a deal?" verdicts on Amazon.in and Flipkart product pages. Pro creators get additional capabilities for submitting deals to their channels.

No account is needed to use the extension as a shopper — install it and click. Pro creators who use the extension to capture deals for their channels do need a Pro account (sign-up is on dealzap.ai/register).

Yes — Edge, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi all run Chrome Web Store extensions, so the install link works on all of them. We'll publish to the Edge Add-ons store separately once the Chrome listing has built install history.

You'll see a clean scan page with the AI-extracted product info and a button to either browse our curated deals or submit it for tracking. You won't get a misleading verdict — we only score what we've verified.

Not yet. The Android app is live on Google Play. iOS is on the roadmap — chrome extensions can't be installed on iPhone Safari due to Apple's restrictions, so the mobile-app route is the future iOS path.

chrome://extensions → find DealZap → Remove. We don't retain any data after uninstall — there's nothing stored on our side that's tied to you because we don't collect personal info in the first place.

One click. Honest verdict.

Free, 7.6 KB, no signup, no tracking. The next time Amazon shows you "70% off" — actually know if it is.
